Rnd 1.

Rnd 1. With Green yarn and H hook, make a magic circle. In the circle make 7 sc. Do NOT join but do mark 1st st. (7 sc made)

Rnd 2. Make 2 sc in each st around. (14 sc made.)

Rnd 3.

Rnd 3. (Sc in 1st st, make 2 sc in next st) around. (21 sc made.)

Rnd 4. (Make 1 sc in each of the next 2 sts, make 2 sc in next st) around. (28 sc made.)

Tongue

Tongue With red yarn ch 6, sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each ch across. (5 sc) End off and weave in the end.

Assembling:

Assembling: Fold Large circle in half. Glue the tongue about ½" from the center inside. Now glue both sides together. Glue only about 1 1/2" of the top rounded part together. Glue eyes to the back of eyes and glue to the top of the head. Glue the felt to the cheeks.
